After the first year of an all-new vehicle, manufacturers often “decontent” (delete) features and equipment to cut costs, most often trim pieces that they feel are no longer necessary or that owners will not notice or miss. The following is a list of items that were deleted from Grand Cherokee models starting with the 2006 model year.

Windshield header molding | Deleted starting with 2007 models built after November 7, 2006. The molding is designed to be installed underneath the top of the windshield when the windshield is new or is being replaced.
